Ya,ya,ya
We have made quite a bit of progress despite the setbacks with the general contractor I have been using. We finally came to an “agreement” today. More on that later…after the end of the project arrives. It could turn out fine - or it could turn out bad - guess we will just have to wait and see.
Tomorrow seems to be the big day - more on that after it happens =)
I have to say, It amazes me how nonchalant many of these contractors are. For the most part I have been very fortunate in this regard - but I have also learned that you cannot take this for granted. I hired a gutter company to come and install gutters and they didnt even bother to show up the first time. No phone call - nothing - just didnt show. Come to find out - their truck broke down - last time I checked it was common courtesy to call if you were going to be late - or furthermore - not show up at all. Glad I was not sitting there all day waiting for them - I would not have been a happy camper.
